By removing the roof, the passengers are directly exposed to the 8.0 litre quad turbo W16 which increases the unique and emotional experience of the Veyron and the transparent roof allows drivers to directly experience their surroundings, even when the roof is up. The larger Roof Spoiler allows for a more comfortable and relaxed drive at such speeds by reducing noise in the cabin making for the perfect roof down drive.
