As I’m doing a bunch of winter maintenance on the chim I noticed cracking in the drivers side engine mount. So I decided to change them both as it’s likely they are original. There’s no mention of them being done in any of the service docs I have.
Glad I changed them as the drivers side was complete separated from the metal. The passenger side still looked great.

h of a job though!There’s not much clearance for the studs to come out. A few people remove the bracket as well, but I didn’t. In hindsight maybe I should’ve. I used an engine hoist and when I lifted the engine and removed both mounts the engine rotated and the starter motor shorted on the chassis. Just be careful of that.
