Is is a conservation area? I thought planning laws were getting more relaxed.

There seems to be plenty of space to the left side. I'd sending them a new amended drawing and reapply. After a while they some times back down.

I did have a bigger garage available for it, but the owner wanted it back. Planners wont let me increase the size of my garage frown
You must have nerves of steel as well as quads biggrin

On what grounds won’t they let you modify the property. I live in an AONB and had a two storey garage built. That was based on the old garage on the other side of the property being removed.

Conservation area, AONB

Even had my head of planning at work look at it.

Mind you even with consent it would be expensive to do for a small gain. Especially as we plan to move in a year or so.

I had a side door in my garage so if you opened it in advance you could drive the car in and open the car door as normal making it easier to get out.

Still a faff but it's a relatively cheap option for those with a skinny garage :-)

They look nice and cosy together ,looks a tight fit but at least there out of the elements.

A clean looking 1975 208 GT4 sold at Dores and Rees auction last week for £30K ,

still on it's Roma plates but with all duties paid looked good value .

Probably a better buy than the Mondial convertible that didn't sell.
