A good day together,

I need a windscreen for a Griffith from 1998. Due to negative experiences with Shutterprufe screens (insufficient fitting) I'm looking for an original screen from TVR with stamp. Who can help me, so that I can drive the Griff again?

Best regards,
Thorsten

When I was looking last year there no windscreens available from specialists.I ended up with one from National Windscreens which I am very happy with.

Motaclan (who bought the TVR parts business https://motaclan.com/d I believe are working on getting some made but don't know when they will be available.

Thanks for your hints.
Several company's in UK have remanufactured windscreens. Most of them are produced in China.
Unfortunately there is no information on the accuracy of fit.
I have already purchased two shutteprufe screens from different sources in the UK and both screens
have a completely inadequate fit.
So I'm only looking for an original TVR windscreen with stamping.

I have just asked the seller in Leeds and the screens are "Safeview".
Anyone know if they are a good fit?

And the new TVR parts company is having them remade as well.

He is asking £1000 for a screen!

This seems very high for a second hand screen when National Windscreens can fit a new item for £452 and they are aware of the fitting problems.

Got told today they'll be available from middle of next month - the 'proper' ones as TVR are having them made (not sure what that really means these days. But it is from a trusted source.

Probably that you get a TVR decal on it and an extra 40% on the invoice.
