Update from me, following a discussion with my OPC, there is zero chance of a C2 now (even though I placed an order Dec 21), very little chance of a T, so I will be taking delivery of a 992.2. Hopefully one of the first into the dealership.

Interesting ... you wrote on the "T" thread that your OPC were expecting more allocations in June/July. Has that changed or do they think that will be their last allocations? Which then fits with the 992.1 ceasing in Q3

Andy it seems that June / July could be one of the last allocations before they start tooling for the 992.2.

Thanks, I have been expecting that ... others think that 992.1 will go on longer. So the views from your OPC are interesting and validating what I am expecting based on previous generation changes. I am not expecting to get a T now anyway.

That’s a shame, reading bits and pieces on line I had mistakenly thought there were “plenty” T to go round? Take it the T is also over subscribed now then?

You would have thought that a few hundred would come to the UK ... but based on the allocations coming through that might not be achievable if production stops in Q3

There is a view that 992 GTS, & maybe GT3 might continue a little longer, but that was just the opinion of the OPC based of some views across the dealer network / PCGB.

That is my understanding as well… 992 GT3, SC, Dakar, even rumor has it GT2 RS will overlap with 992.2.

Apparently the floor-pan/platform of 992.2 is the same as 992.1, so they can be built on the same line.

Isn't it usual for the GT cars to overlap a little? Different production lines. I guess that would be the same for the SC and Dakar. However, continuing with the GTS would be unusual if they have moved over the .2.

Just booked a factory tour at Zuffenhaussen next Fri pm for me and the wife 2 months before our 911 starts production. Went around the museum last Thurs again and had a great time.

Just public visit. There are very few slots for public, private and engine tours, just got lucky nosing around the site. Helps living one hour away from factory for timing.
