I found Octopus to be cheaper, Bulb have almost become mainstream now, and they know it. The customer service with Octopus is incredible too.
Get a quote. Would make my day if anyone used this too obviously, £50 each.

Another switcher to Bulb here, from Eon, potentially saving around £300 a year.
Nothing much to add apart from the same £50 for each of us if you switch using my code
johnf3835
and if you're (ex)military you can also get a £30 Tesco voucher if you sign up via the link from the DDS (Defence Discount Service) website HERE

We have just switched from British Gas to Scottish Power, because Compare the Meerkat said it was cheaper. Which it is, but Bulb clearly weren't included. I have just quoted with them, and it is slightly cheaper, but the question is - can we switch and is it worth it?
I got the email from Scottish Power to say we had switched 2 days ago. Although they had something really odd with their sign up and initially seemed to think we had 3 Electricity meters, but that seems to have resolved itself (even though I spent almost 2 hours on hold waiting to talk to someone and eventually gave up).
Bulb say they will refund our exit fee, but since we have only just switched, would we be liable? On the basis I've already spent 2 hours on hold with Scottish Power with no answer, I am not eager to try and call them (and is another reason I am considering leaving already).

I think you would need to read the SP T&Cs to find out if you have a cooling off period (or post a link to them). I found switching to Bulb very straightforward & I'd always avoided switching as I thought is was hassle. I can't say what the wait to speak to CS is like as I've never called them but they did answer a couple of emails promptly. They are just starting to rollout the SMETS2 meters & from their forum they are struggling a bit with the workload but you don't have to have a smart meter.I got the email from Scottish Power to say we had switched 2 days ago. Edit: it looks like you have 14 days after the delivery of the welcome letter to cancel , although I don't know where you go to if you do. Maybe give Bulb a call or send an email.

Since it seems obligatory here's my link for us to both get £50 if you sign up (although that's not what I started the thread for):

Looks like we just missed the cooling off period, but the exit fees are only £30 per fuel, which Bulb will cover, so this should be fine. I did confirm Bulb would cover this with their chat.Edit: it looks like you have 14 days after the delivery of the welcome letter to cancel , although I don't know where you go to if you do.
