I can top trump all you guys with the Casio royal.

May I present to you the synoke royal, all £2 of it delivered from China!

So glad my AD gave me this opportunity, I'm sure I'll wear it in good health and give it plenty of wrist time.
Glad to see you managed to get it at rrp and not have to pay the 50 pence grey premium. :-)

I have five or six SKMEI watches and for the money you really can't beat them. The only one I had an issue with, was a digital whereby the backlight button was a bit iffy. Still worked but occasionally flickered when you used it. Otherwise thought I can't fault them. I have two of these Royale style ones, this and a green one. I'd say the quality is easily comparable to the Casio version (I have two) but at £8.50 these are a steal.

Seems that you're in good company!

How many lesser models did you have to buy to be given the opportunity to purchase that?!?!
And do you have the 'wrist real estate' to carry it off?
An excellent timepiece to add to the collection!

€50 of Hanowa automatic, on a leather strap from the box ‘o’ straps. The new crystal and buff with a Cape Cod cloth have worked wonders. Accuracy is terrific too.

The first of the replacements following the recent theft of my stuff. My one remaining watch - the one I was wearing on holiday when the scrotes broke in - is a Spinnaker and I'm really pleased with it. This came in at €228, so in budget.

I like that. It’s my cup of tea smile
Thanks, glad it found favour. I'll probably put it on a more sober strap but I very much like the watch.

That double-crown design works well. I hope this one performs as well as its predecessor!

No one is getting past you on the stairs if you’re wearing that…

Chaps, I'm after a bit of help. One of the watches I want to replace is my much-loved Casio Duro Marlin in Blue. Where's the best place to buy from?

I'm on the Continent so need to be careful about taxes. So far all I can find are US sellers that don't ship to Lux, or Israeli sellers that I'm sure are charging twice what I paid before (maybe that's the going rate these days) but can anyone point me to a reputable European seller please?

I’ve already had a look on the German internet sites. No luck; I found a brand-new one on Kleinanzeigen for €40 but it has the ‘Pepsi’ bezel and a black face. I might get it for CdeG anyway as he’s had a bad run of luck.

Hangabout, I haven’t bought it yet. I’ll ask the seller if he’ll ship it, he wasn’t forthcoming when I enquired previously but let’s see now.

CdeG, does that float your stoat?

That's jolly kind of you chum but unnecessary. I think I'll chance the Israeli seller and replace like for like.

Really thoughtful of you though, and much appreciated.

Haha and he can probably afford a lot more pricy watch than I can! lol

I've seen that particular SKMEI but it is a monster in terms of size. I have a square TV style one that's big but nowhere near that one.

Also if you look up the brand on Amazon, the prices are so much higher. Double what AliExpress is at least.
