I have a garden log cabin workshop to get assembled & treated / weather-proof, ideally by mid April or I'm going to start running into bother with storage- I reckon 3 consecutive calm, dry days should be enough to get it done... I don't even mind if it's cold! Unfortunately it's looking like a complete impossibility at the moment. Each time I check the weather it just continually shows rain for the next 14 days frown

It was delivered in Feb just at the end of the last cold spell and since then I don't think we've had a single 24hr period without either a downpour or high winds or both here in Oxfordshire. Winter can officially do one.

Rant over!
As the wind swings to the North, should be plenty dry enough in Oxon thumbup

My magnolia is about to unfurl its plentiful and magnificent petals, so this can only mean one thing, there will shortly be a hard frost which will immediately kill the petals and ruin the spectacle.

Solar storm tonight - not a hope in hell of seeing anything with our current conditions!

I always keep an eye on the space weather (I don't really), an X20-class flare would cause mayhem, especially to me as it'd likely stop my pacemaker and me.

Noticed a lot of chat about the aurora, this was an iPhone pic from my back garden in Aberdeenshire.
I’m hoping it’s still going in half an hour or so when the battery for the proper camera is charged!

Another couple of phone pics from Aberdeenshire - bit of cloud floating about but pretty strong at times with waving columns visible to the naked eye.

Anyone more fascinated by the lower part of the pic? What is going on?!

It’s my hedge being projected onto the road by the lights on the house that I hadn’t turned off yet!

Just tried to dry some laundry outside. It did not end well.
