Not sure if its been discussed before but does anyone know the total cost for a pre purchase inspection at a mac dealer if you're buying privately or from a used dealer? Thanks

Hi there

Tried to email you but got reply: 'recipient doesnt accept emails'?
Away in the Lakes at the mo (poor signal reception) will try to change my email settings address when I return home on Saturday morning.

Thanks

I think 765s are going to take a bit of a thumping as soon as the 750 is launched, and it goes against my grain to talk McLaren values down.

Wrong thread but being a limited number LT car I’d be surprised if the 750 had any effect on 765LT residuals, time will tell I suppose,, looking at increasing 600LT prices I’m glad I took the plunge when I did,,

Keep it up samoht, I still like to look even though I’ve bought, surprised there’s a couple of 600LT’s been lowered in price , generally they seem to only be going one way ,,^^^

Yes its good to see its possible to run up to that kind of mileage but the question is whether they are able to be sold or what they're value is compared to ones half their mileage

Not to shy away from previous comments about "high" mile Mclarens, i wouldnt want to buy one when there are plenty of offerings sub 20k miles at similar monies, but great to see them being used and more than capable of those miles, despite my negative comments at their asking prices. Shame some of the non owner Mclaren scaremongering reliability claims cant be pointed in the direction of those sorts of cars.

It would be interesting to see if anyone has compared trade in losses on a car, with projected long term ownership costs/values of higher mileage cars; wonder if there’s any correlation.
My old 964 had about 130k on her after I’d owned it for 18 years; went for 52k or thereabouts; bit soft on price, but higher mileage…othered with >100k were anything up to 20k more. But by swapping in and out less, I’d only have one trade margin to consider.
Not quite apples to apples, but it’s all I have.

Think i need to go to specsavers then paperbag

If a spider appears for sub 300 i think i’ll go for it, but las you say, the 720 revision will be interesting, especially if something is done with the front end..

a 600lt spider has me interested to..

Thanks for the market watch info btw, great help!
