Small world. I've been in that house a few times and have known two previous owners.

Only potential irritant would be day time/week day noise from the playground.

I'd also imagine that it wouldn't be cheap to heat....

I'd imagine not, also from memory, actually quite small inside.

HS2 will be a neighbour, but what a place to throw another million at and see no difference!

I could quite happily see out my days there.

Bit cold and clinical inside for me. I think it's the flooring in the main room.

Surely the above barn conversion is overpriced by at least 1.5 million?!
Yes, it's nice, but has no land listed, and a close neighbour. Am I missing something?
I would have expected an indoor 25m pool at this price as well...

Thats what I think when I look at all these big places. It's not even 'is it expensive to heat?' but even 'Is it possible?' Most are big imposing rooms with a token old nice looking Victorian radiator which wouldn't even touch the sides. Plus big single glazing and open fires look lovely but are a bit rubbish are heating anything.

Cold in winter. Cold floors. Cold beds.

Sloppy, they’ve managed to let a photo of a hotel lobby get in there.

Been on before and still for sale at same price, guess they're waiting for the one...

I quite like that.
It makes a change from having all the rooms leading from a long corridor by having the additional wings.
Having said that, there's a sex pond in the master bedroom..... biggrin
