Rosenbergs were deemed to pose a threat to national security - didn't end well. That said, I can't see trump serving a sentence behind bars, unfortunately. He's done more damage than Julius & Ethel ever attempted ( or not).
And the link is... Roy Cohn! Self loathing criminal scumbag acting high and mighty.

Trump will never see a jail cell.

I wonder if the urgency over the documents case is because he potentially still has classified material. Wouldn't be a surprise at all.
With the revelation that documents were being scanned I have no doubt whatsoever that he still has lots of classified material squirrelled away. The problem with it being electronic rather than physical means that it will almost certainly never be recovered and even if some of it were found you could never be sure that you have every copy.

ETA: Aldrich Ames was a pretty big security risk breach and he is locked up.

Trump lawyer Evan Corcoran spoted entering the federal courthouse

Claims now that Corcoran isn't going to take the fall for trump, is saying, 'It wasn't me, I wrote this, but I was told what to put in there by my client" and has the docs and tapes to prove it...

ranting away on TS again like a little child

"Why won't Bragg drop this case?"
"I did nothing wrong!"
"Soros backed animal who just doesn't care about right or wrong"
"this is the Gestapo, this is Russia and China, but worse. "

and another coded call for violence to protect him
"Our country is being destroyed, as they tell us to be peaceful!"

Corcoran is in court today, fighting trumps side of why Pence shouldn't comply with the DOJ to subpoena. Pence doesn't want to testify under oath because he still thinks he has a chance at 2024, trump certainly doesn't want Pence testifying because he knows he'll tell the truth, all the efforts trump put into getting him to throw out votes and accept his fake electors instead.

Edit: Remembering of course that Pence wrote a book about the subject he doesn't want to testify about under oath...

DA Btagg has written a 5 page response to the attempted GOP interference in his investigation into trump. Takes a lawyer to take 5 pages saying effectively stuff it where the sun doesn't shine...
He's called it "an unprecedent inquiry into a pending local prosecution." and only came after trump lied

I must admit that whilst I agree with Byker's excellent assessment of "saying effectively stuff it where the sun doesn't shine..." it is clearly a well prepared and exasperated office replying with a "shove it in sideways" and don't even bother replying demanding stuff you are not entitled to. It feels like a formal Judgment over here in the UK where the trial judge has an eye on eliminating all areas or grounds for a potential appeal.

I also liked the last bit where they repeat the offer to meet and see if there is a way of appeasing the unlawful and unconstitutional demands of the GOP hacks on the committee - with a very silent 'go f**k yourself' unspoken but clearly the message.

He will have a never ending stream of new lawyers eager to go to work for him, despite them knowing full well they will probably get thrown under the bus or never paid. The cache of such a high profile client, however scummy, will be too much for them to resist.
It's a no-lose situation for trump lawyers as nobody expects them to 'win', their role is simply to delay proceedings. They'll be tarred with the stty trump stick but again they won't lose because there are plenty of other equally stty clients who will be more than delighted to use the same lawyers that trump used.

I have often thought that it would be a brilliant tagline for a law firm to add to their headed notepaper.

The country is so messed up though that litigants would actually value the association.

One of the things that annoys me the most about trump is that we ran out of suitable words to describe his throbbishness years ago. It's exasperating.

Hard to believe that. They would be sued out of business plus the data breach aspect.
Great idea though!

Who have thought it, the GOP are exagerating or lying about links between Bragg and George Soros in their attempted defence of trump

Vance claimed Bragg was 'bought by Soros', Stefanik claimed Bragg “took one million dollars from George Soros.”, yet there's actually no proof of that.
A spokesperson said Soros "has never met or spoken to Alvin Bragg."

CNN getting in, a little late.

Before he represented Trump in the NY inquiry, defense attorney Joe Tacopina repeatedly said he Stormy Daniels saga was true and payment could be seen as an in-kind campaign contribution.
