A gold bracelet will be something special from VC - look forward to seeing the pictures. So cheap too! 
I had a JLC on a gold bracelet (now sold) and I was always fascinated by seeing and handling something so well engineered in gold.

I agree on it being relatively cheap to add the gold bracelet after the fact, roughly 20Kish, in comparison to buying a new full gold piece from VC is a damn is a damn site more, and who knows how long of a waitlist. Putting it on full gold will move it over to a grail piece for me and part of the perm collection, along with my Zeitwerk (incoming), and I also have another grail piece on the way, DD40 RG RBR Eisenkiesel dial.

I've been on the fence about both for a long time too, I've been waiting on the local AD for quite a long time to the point I cannot be bothered with their games anymore. With the current market dip, the price differential isn't that bad between retail and grey for some models. Plan is to live with them both for a while, see which I like moreNice to be able to just buy both! Congrats!
These 2 explorer and the DD I purchased from Nico at Pride & Pinion in Ireland, will be picking them up in Dubai in a few weeks.

So not only do you have possibly my favourite bike on PH, you're also about to take delivery of a Zeitwerk - my all time grail. Jammy sod
