Yes I have the one below. I use it on max with heat and it takes about 15 mins to dry the car. The car is ceramic coated so the water blows off it easily. It would take longer without the ceramic.

I often find I have to do some areas several times as the powerful blast of air can spray droplets onto bits you have done.

I bought it because I wanted to minimise swirl marks on black paint but as we are in a hard water area I can’t just let the water dry naturally

Cool. Forgot to ask… does it dry the disks enough, to stop them corroding when parked back up.

I’ll tell you in 3 weeks time…….. it has been ok before, but I do run a dehumidifier in the garage. You can’t really get to the backs of the discs with the dryer

What are your thoughts on presence/ absence of wing shields on the F355?
TBH, I literally couldn’t care either way, for me they don’t add anything style wise, but if it came from factory with them, then I’d leave them on. I certainly have no desire to add them, the only mod I’m considering at the moment is a challenge rear grill, but still on the fence about it.

Beautiful swanseaboydan.

What are your thoughts on non-yellow wing shields on the Caliornia?

I liked them, sold car a few years ago but the original
Owner had specked carbon shields ( I think they were called ) I always thought it made the car a bit more stealthy - quite an expensive option I think - just for some shields

Like those, very stylish.

My California came with wing shields and I actually had them taken off (they had been added after the car was built so just sat on top of the wings vs being indented into them, so minor job whilst having some stone chips resprayed).

The whole reason I wanted a grey/silver (Grigio) car and not a red one was so it wasn’t too showy, and the shields were rather yelling “look at me, I’ve got a Ferrari!”.

My view is on a red or yellow mid-engined Ferrari where you want the impact of a bright colour and a racing look, then shields make sense. On a more elegant car like a California, Scaglietti or Roma in discrete colours then always thought they look wrong.

That said, I’d not seen discretely coloured shields like yours before, Swanseaboydan, and think it’s a really clever solution to add a subtle bit of racing look to a less obviously showy car.

I sold that and got a California T. I really missed the non turbo v8 sound ! I think the California is a very under rated car - great for cruising around all day

Hmm that is interesting.. so you could wash the car and rather than driving it, just dry it and put it away.

Did you just go check on the car or take it out? Round here (Sevenoaks) it’s absolutely tipping it down.

checked it moved when pushed or pulled. Garage is too tight for me to see the discs. Note I do have a dehumidifier in the garage too, but previously that hasn't helped the brakes if the car was put away wet.

Wow, how do you get out of the car when it's in the garage?

I don't

I push the car in and pull it out. Annoyingly owing to the shape of the drive both ways are uphill frown

I did have a bigger garage available for it, but the owner wanted it back. Planners wont let me increase the size of my garage frown
