A woman who lives near me has had quite a bit of press coverage recently for claiming she's able to buy a house outright with no mortgage and a Porsche 911.
The downside is she's getting nailed on camera by other blokes.

Fixed that for you. smile
More likely that you're projecting your own sensibilities and you see it as a downside. wink

I wonder how many commenting on this thread have actually paid an escort for sex.
What's the difference between an escort and a prostitute ?
Is there one ? Is it down to cost ?

The prostitutes I see in town are minging rancid smack heads. I perceive escorts to be normal women.

There’s some nice looking girls advertising themselves on the website for working adults, and some horrors as well. The use of a shower before and after, and probably during if that’s your thing, and a nice flat/house sounds a lot more appealing than driving down Great Northern Street to pick up some baghead for a blowy in the back of the van…

An escort usually sells time for companionship only and anything else that happens is purely between consenting adults. (That's how they make it legal.) Prostitutes walk the streets etc looking to give a blowie or a ride. Usually got scabby faces (and most other things) from drug use.

Prostitution is legal in the UK, the 'disclaimer' is nonsense.

I would say the main difference between escort and prostitute is escorts charge by time whereas prostitutes charge by service. Fundamentally both are selling sex though and are therefore prostitutes.

Ah yes, you're quite right. It's the soliciting for sex in a public place that makes it illegal.

Been around this for years (not as a customer ) - like any other walk of life - there’s smarter girls than others - seen some girls get paid obscene amounts of money for simply turning up - obviously they get paid extra for the other ‘services’.

Met a few who were quite savvy with the money and tucked it away, others who had last nights money spent the next day.

Within that there’s lots of complicated relationships at play, some play mother figures to clients , for others it’s actual companionship rather than the physical .

Equally there’s been Some very sorry sights over the years aswell.

Ah, sorry, just realised I'd mis-read the above and thought your edit was the sentence about the downside.

Aye, that's a fair point. Surprised I glossed over that subtlety because it's often something that occurs to me when talking about this stuff.

I had long day yesterday!

Not in those circles, it'll be something to be proud of wink.

Edit to add: just like unemployment, a criminal record, drug taking, shoplifting, benefits fraud etc. biggrin

So if they don't have kids, you'll approve it?
