How would Usyk get himself into the WBC rankings? I don't understand how the process works and why he isn't even listed by that body.

Champions aren’t ranked by the other bodies

According to Warren, it's nothing to do with the agreement over the April fight it's to do with a rematch clause. I'm not sure I'm buying it though, and think Fury isn't fully committed on this. Looking at the state of his conditioning (I know he's never been in prime condition) Im surprised he can get into any shape capable of going 12 with Usyk in little over 6 weeks.

Fury has insisted that should Usyk win then the rematch is a 50-50 split.
Usyk has rightly said get fqd, its 70-30 to me.

Yeah, I can see what Warren is saying in that Fury brings the money in a way no other competitor can at present but I think that's just because Fury seems to take an age to get any fight organised! I'd agree with Usyk though and at a minimum if he wins, it's in his favour. It's disrespectful to suggest otherwise.

Also worth noting that Usyk will earn 3x less for the first fight than he did in his last fight and that he could have got paid £45m for it if Fury didn't turn the Saudi money down

Huge Fury fan, vocal on this forum in my opinion that for me Fury beats Usyk...but if they fight now, I hope Usyk wins. The guy has done everything to accommodate Fury and whilst I appreciate ya gotta make hay whilst the sun shines, Fury's conditions are getting ridiculous. I honestly think he's done with the game, and there is nothing wrong with that if he is, his life, his health. But st or get off the pot man. Usyk should refuse to deal with him and clear out the division as I think he beats them all, with the possible exception of big Joe who is a wholly different fighter these days, but I'd favour him there too. Oh, and if they fight when they are meant to, I think Usyk now wins as I have always said Fury needs to be 100% to beat him, and no way he gets in the metal space or physical shape he needs to be in the time left. Go Usyk.

Surely a champion wants all the belts over money.
Fury has shown his true colours.
Can't imagine the original and great Tyson turning down the opportunity to have all the belts over a rematch percentage clause.
He would have assumed he would win in the first place.

The April 29th date was always somewhat unrealistic. Did anyone think Fury was going to be properly ready for that date? I still think this fight happens next - but in Saudi - where Fury and Usyk will then both earn more money.

I think you're 100% correct. I'm not a Fury fan, but can see why he'd be an absolute nightmare for anyone if he were fully committed to the sport.

He's not though and that's why he's ducking Usyk, who is and who will expose him, big time.

I can see a mental health episode incoming.

Why would fury stipulate 50/50?
He can go or 70/30 again.
If he wins.

His legacy is looking pretty ste at the moment.

Imagine if they never meet now.
The reason in the records will be fury arguing about how much he gets in a rematch if he loses.
What a champ.

This year we are going to get Usyk fighting Dubois and Hrgovic, Joshua fighting Franklin and Whyte and Fury fighting fk knows who. Division is a disgrace.

Joyce fights in a few weeks so a good performance there will certainly put him front and centre for a fight against one of the big 4. I am including Wilder in that as I think that Joyce v Wilder is a PPV worth paying for.

In other news I was pleasantly surprised that the Joshua v Franklin fight is not PPV on DAZN.

No, let's not generalize

It's 'ducky druggy' fury that is a disgrace.
