I think TC is a good interviewer. He rarely asks closed questions and invites the subject to give more detail and information. I haven't listened to all yet. The EJ one is better that I thought it would be and fair play to him, he made a lot of money taking risks.
I have to say, I think he is a really good interviewer. What I like is he asks the question and actually lets the other guy answer it. Seems like a rare quality in an interviewer these days!Punching above your weight seems to mean climbing out the toilet window after the slap up meal with Jordan and force india.

Nico Rosberg’s beyond the grid is on f1.com now, have to pencil in some time to listen..
Listened to most of it on the commute home. I thought he came across quite fake, trying too hard to convince that he's having a great time post retirement. He also clearly doesn't have enough distance to speak openly about his career, a little too much bravado when talking about his former teammates still.
Some interesting thoughts on Vettel though.

Listened to it yesterday, seemed very upbeat until Tom kept pressing him on his time with Lewis, seemed to become a big cagey and less chatty. He’s obviously still not comfortable talking about certain aspects of it.He also clearly doesn't have enough distance to speak openly about his career, a little too much bravado when talking about his former teammates still.

This was my thought too.All the "dear listeners" was pretty fake sounding to me.
It also sounds like he's going to blow a load of dosh on bizarre "investments".

And he's lighter now then when he was a driver! TC not quite on his 'A' game but another good episode.
The Prost interview was brilliant even if it was another Prost FAQs. Prost has a willingness to speak and with strong emotions - still burned by the Senna movie (rightly so IMO). He had an urgency to speak his side when talking about Senna. Tones and emotions never get quite captured when reading interviews which is arguably why podcasts are superior to written interviews. The Moose said:

All the outlandish investments, the only I’ve heard of before was the semi sensible ice cream bar in Ibiza.
I’ll be interested in what really happened when it all comes out..
Can’t remember the race when he said it all kicked off Maylasia 2014?

I enjoyed the Rosberg/Flávio one, switched the Bernie one off after 5.
Maybe I'll give it a listen, avoided his output after the dreadfull attempt that was the bernie interview, which was practically a how-not-to of interviewing.Must say though he's starting at the bottom isn't he? Who's next, spanky max? Doesn't anyone popular want to talk to him? Compare to Tom clarkson who got Hamilton for his first or second podcast (not that nico wants a favour off lewis lol). Again nico missing the subtleties.

& Tom clarkson has been around the paddock for 15yrs? & regularly hosts the proper FIA press conferences, the drivers know him well.
Hopefully they can get Brawn and some of the engineers on in the future IMO.
