Not sure I'm in love with the calfskin strap...

Works for me, I think the watch head itself will suit a range of straps and colours.

Yes. It's very nice, good too, but Cartier has blocked third party manufacture.
I've tried to buy genuine direct, but they won't do so online or via telephone - I'm told I have to visit one of their 'boutiques', in either that London or Birmingham. rolleyes
They cost an arm and a leg too.

Trouble is, the watch uses Cartier's own QR system, so 'normal' watch straps won't fit. Apparently You can buy adapters, but at £40-odd per pair, they'll make straps quite expensive...

Thanks for that guys, I didn't realise that it's a unique fitting. That's a shame as it's ripe for trying out different straps.

Just to make my sad life complete, does the strap have a light blue inner lining, with blue detailing on the caseback?

Nope - light beige lining with blue stitching - strap is dark blue. Caseback has grey lettering - P4000 movement which is a micro rotor based movement.
Titanium case model PAM729
